This wikispace is designed to assist with teaching of word families and early readers. Within each of the activities that you may find on this site, I have carefully designed to promote learning for all types of learners. Some of the activities may require additional instruction or support (ELL, intellectual disability students, physical handicapped students, and those with ADHD). All of these ideas can be incorporated and adjusted appropriately to fit the needs of every student. These activities, suggestions, and ideas include individual, partner, small group, and whole class activities. For every activity you can find a helpful list of resources or materials needed along with classroom management considerations and suggestions.
